Booking and Cancellation Policy – Centre d’Immersió Cap de Creus
 

At Centre d’Immersió Cap de Creus we strive to provide a safe, professional and high-quality experience. Below is our booking and cancellation policy, designed to ensure good organization and respect for all participants.
 

1. Bookings and payments
 

 -A booking is only confirmed with the required advance payment through the platform.

 -The percentage requested during booking is mandatory. Without payment, the spot is not guaranteed.

 -Prices are reviewed annually and may vary. If a booking is made in the previous year, the Centre may request the difference compared to the current rate.

 -Bookings not used within the same year are not carried over to the next season, except with a valid medical justification.

 -The Centre reserves the right to adjust schedules depending on client flow or weather conditions.
 

2. Certification, insurance and medical check
 

 -Each diver is responsible for ensuring that their health condition is suitable for safe diving.

 -According to Spanish regulations, a medical certificate is not generally required.

 -All participants must complete and sign the medical questionnaire and liability waiver established by the BOE.

 -If the questionnaire indicates a condition that may affect safety, a valid medical certificate of fitness will be required.

 -A valid diving insurance is mandatory. If the client does not have one, the Centre can provide temporary coverage options.

 -Each diver must have the proper certification for the planned dive. 
 -The guide may refuse access if the diver is deemed unfit. In this case, no refund will be given.
 

3. Equipment
 

 -The service includes weight belt, weights and air tanks of 12 L, 13 L or 15 L.

 -The rest of the equipment (wetsuit, regulator, BCD, etc.) is not included and must be selected during booking to guarantee availability.

 -Rented equipment must be returned in good condition. 
 -In case of loss or damage, the Centre may charge the replacement cost.
 

4. Individual cancellations
 

 -More than 48 h in advance: full refund or date change free of charge.

 -Between 48 h and 24 h before: 50 % refund or reschedule depending on availability.

 -Less than 24 h or no-show: no refund. The spot remains booked.
 

5. Group cancellations (+10 people)
 

 -More than 7 days before: full refund or reschedule.

 -Between 7 and 3 days before: 25 % will be retained as compensation.

 -Less than 72 h before: 50 % refund or reschedule depending on availability.

 -Partial or total no-show: no refund for unused spots.
 

6. Courses and training
 

 -Once the theoretical part of a course has started, the cost will not be refunded, even if the practical part is not completed.

 -To reschedule the practical part, notice must be given at least 48 h in advance.

 -If the student chooses to abandon the course for reasons unrelated to the Centre, the Centre reserves the right to determine if a refund applies and in what amount, depending on the resources, time and staff already assigned.
 

7. Minimum attendance for boat trips
 

 -Some activities, especially boat dives, require a minimum number of participants. If not reached:

 -Activity reschedule

 -Change for another activity

 -Full refund
 

8. Weather or external causes
 

If the activity is cancelled due to bad weather, technical issues or official decisions, the client may choose:
 

 -Date change

 -Activity change

 -Full refund
 

9. Personal causes during the activity
 

Once the activity has started (including boarding), no refund will be given if the participant decides not to continue due to:
 

 -Seasickness

 -Cold

 -Anxiety

 -Fatigue

 -Any other cause beyond the Centre’s control
