Open Water Diver
About the course...
Do you want to start exploring the underwater world? With this course, you’ll become a certified diver and be able to dive down to 18 meters.
- Theory training at your own pace: Access the SSI app and start your theory online, wherever and whenever you want. We’ll help you set everything up so you can get started even before you arrive at the center.
- Practical sessions in the sea and confined waters: Over three days, you’ll enjoy a complete experience: you’ll practise basic skills in shallow waters and dive into the underwater world of Cap de Creus with shore and boat dives. The perfect combination to learn and discover the park’s most spectacular spots!
- Official internationally recognised certification: Once you complete the theory and practical sessions, you’ll take a final exam. If you pass, you’ll receive your SSI Open Water Diver certification, valid worldwide

Pack 2 Specialities
This package includes the Deep Diving and Navigation specialties — two key tools to expand your underwater knowledge.

Advanced Open Water
Pack 4 specialities
This level is designed to help you grow your skills and knowledge as a diver.
The package includes four essential specialties: Deep Diving, Navigation, Nitrox, and Buoyancy Control.

- 6 open water dives combining the knowledge and practical skills of all four specialties.
- All necessary equipment, a certified instructor, and boat or shore dives included to complete your training.

Master Diver
Pack 5 specialities
This package gives you the knowledge, techniques, and experience you need to be recognised as a safe, confident diver.
You’ll learn how to plan dives while applying new skills such as deep diving, buoyancy control, navigation, nitrox, and Stress & Rescue for Divers.
You’ll also gain the know-how to handle potential emergency situations — for yourself and your dive buddies — and learn how to respond effectively and safely.
Includes:
- Complete theory training for all five specialties, accessible through the SSI app.
- 9 open water dives combining the practical skills of all five specialties.
- All necessary equipment, a certified instructor, and boat or shore dives included for all activities.

React Right
First Aid
The React Right course covers all types of assistance in emergency situations, including both first aid and secondary care.
- The first aid section focuses on treating life-threatening situations.
- The second part, secondary care, teaches you how to perform an initial assessment of the victim to identify the extent of the injury.
- In this course, theory and practice go hand in hand from the very beginning, progressing together step by step.
- The minimum age for this training is 12 years old.

Perfect Buoyancy

The Perfect Buoyancy program gives you the skills and knowledge you need to improve your position in the water, control your buoyancy, and optimise your air consumption.
Search & Recovery

The Search and Recovery program gives you the skills and knowledge you need to safely and effectively carry out dives to search for and recover small objects.
You’ll learn different underwater search techniques and how to use specialised equipment to locate and retrieve objects in a controlled and safe way.
Decompression Diving

In the SSI Decompression Diving program, you’ll learn how to dive safely beyond no-decompression limits, down to 40 meters. You’ll discover how to plan dives with a short decompression stop, use a stage cylinder, and get the most out of your dive computer.
With this training, you’ll be able to explore deeper sites, discover large shipwrecks, and enjoy new sensations — without spending hours planning every detail.
Marine Ecology

Get to know the flora and fauna of our surroundings in detail and discover unique species, behaviours, and landscapes.
The Marine Ecology specialty will teach you how to identify and better understand the biodiversity that thrives in the Cap de Creus Natural Park.
Navigation
